As a collaborator at the Borevitz Lab I'm helping out with developing technology to facilitate the research being done by other members of the lab.

Wireless Mesh Network based Environmental Sensors

Currently we are working on developing a range of environmental sensing solutions to allow more detailed study of localized environments.

Parsing and Analysis tools for Affymetrix Micro Array Data

I wrote a parser for Affymetrix Gene Chip data that also extracted alternative splicing information.

Segway Soccer

I participated in building the first segway based robot entry into the Robocup competition.

Media Resource Control Protocol (MRCPv2)

I am a contributor to MRCPv2, a common protocol for accessing Speech Recognition, Text to Speech, and other media types over networks with the IETF.

Silicon Photonics

I developed the Digital blocks in Verilog for the ASIC, Electronics design for the circuit board, Firmware for the microcontroller, and PC software for Customers for the first ever 40Gb/s QSFP module. Conference publication: A 40-Gb/s QSFP Optoelectronic Transceiver in a 0.13μm CMOS Silicon-on-Insulator Technology.
